The Reports area and your upcoming timeline
What the Reports overview shows, how the 90-day timeline is built, and how each row links straight back to the tool.
The Reports area is your control room for renewals, spend and email alerts. It opens on the Overview tab, with two more tabs alongside it: Expenditure (your annualised spend broken down by owner, vendor, category or business unit) and Liability & cashflow (what you are still committed to pay, and when). This article covers the Overview tab and its upcoming timeline.
At the top you will see three headline figures, all measured over a fixed 90-day horizon. 'On horizon' counts every tool with a renewal or a cancellation deadline in the next 90 days. 'Urgent' counts those falling due within 7 days. 'Cancellation deadlines' counts auto-renewing tools whose notice window is closing, so you can act before they roll over silently.
The upcoming timeline lists each of those events, soonest first. For an auto-renewing tool the entry is its cancellation deadline (the renewal date minus its notice period) whenever that deadline still lies ahead within the horizon. Otherwise the entry is its renewal or expiry date. Each row is dated, shows the vendor and owner where known, and carries a lifecycle badge so you can see its status at a glance.
The date and cost on the right are colour-coded by urgency: red within 7 days, amber within 30, and neutral beyond that. Costs are shown in each tool's own currency and are never converted or combined, so a figure always means exactly what the contract says.
Every timeline row is a link. Select one and you go straight to that tool's detail page, where you can check the contract, change the renewal date, adjust the notice period or serve notice. This is the quickest way to move from 'something is due' to actually dealing with it.
Only tools that are actively managed appear here. Archived records drop out of the timeline (they are treated as retained assets, though they still count towards your plan), and cancelled tools are excluded too. If nothing is due in the next 90 days, you will see a friendly empty state rather than an empty list, which simply means there is nothing to act on right now.
