What counts as a tool?

Any product you track: one register entry, one renewal cycle. Seats within a tool don't count separately. If your estate grows past a plan's tool cap your data is safe - nothing is ever deleted - but to keep adding or editing tools you either upgrade to the next tier or remove a tool to drop back under the cap.

Can I self-host?

Yes, on the Business plan. Run StackTrackr inside your own environment so no data leaves your network.
