Terms of Service

These terms form a binding agreement between you (and, where you use StackTrackr for an organisation, that organisation) and StackTrackr, which operates the service at stacktrackr.co.uk. If you use StackTrackr on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

StackTrackr helps you track your software estate: tools, vendors, costs, renewal and cancellation dates, ownership and related documents, with reminders so you do not miss a deadline. We work to improve the service and may add, change or remove features over time.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including members you invite.
• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• Tell us promptly at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised access.

• Paid plans are billed per seat through Stripe, in advance, on a monthly or annual cycle.
• Any free trial gives access to paid features for the stated period, then the account continues on the plan you have chosen (or the free tier).
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices exclude taxes unless stated; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
• We may change prices, giving reasonable notice before a change affects your next renewal.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable for partial periods.

You agree not to:

• use the service unlawfully, or to store or transmit unlawful content;
• attempt to breach, probe or circumvent the security or tenant isolation of the service;
• disrupt or overload the service, or bypass usage limits;
• resell or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
• reverse engineer or copy the service except to the extent the law allows.

You own the content you put into StackTrackr. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content solely to provide and support the service. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, acting as your processor for your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store the content and personal data you upload.

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, ideally with notice for anything significant. Support is provided by email at hello@stacktrackr.co.uk.

StackTrackr, its software, design and brand are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you; you receive only the right to use the service while these terms are in force.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill; and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms (including non-payment) or where we must to protect the service or comply with the law. On termination your right to use the service ends; you will have a reasonable window to export your content, after which we may delete it as set out in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use StackTrackr after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
