Uploading a contract or invoice to a tool

Attach the signed contract, invoice or terms to the tool they belong to, so the paperwork behind a renewal is one click away when you actually need it.

Every tool in your register can hold its own documents. Open the tool from the register, find the Documents section on its page, and upload the file there. It is stored against that specific record, so the signed contract sits next to the renewal date and notice period it governs, rather than in an inbox nobody can find in the week you need it.

You can store any kind of file: a PDF contract, a scanned order form, an email confirmation, a spreadsheet of licence keys. There is no file-type restriction, and the only limit is 25MB per file. When you upload, you also label the document so it is easy to scan later - contract, invoice, email, terms, or other.

Files are private to your account and only ever visible inside your own workspace. StackTrackr does not trust the original filename for anything sensitive: each file is kept under its own generated name and served so a browser cannot execute it, which keeps the vault safe even for files that arrived from outside.

The reason to keep the paperwork here is the renewal conversation. When a vendor sends a notice, or you are weighing up whether to renew, the exact terms - the notice period, the auto-renew clause, the seat count you agreed - are attached to the record you are already looking at, not scattered somewhere else.

Take control of your software estate.

Start with your ten most expensive tools. In an afternoon you will know every renewal date, every notice period, and who owns what.
